Northgate Interchange

A rebuilt junction on a busy trunk road, with new slip roads cut in while traffic kept moving.

What we built

Bulk earthworks for two new slip roads, with drainage and two culverts under the new embankments.

The trunk road could not close. Traffic ran beside the dig every day.

Work was split into phases, with the traffic moved across lanes between each one. Most heavy moves were done at night.
