Ferro Rail Cutting
A rail cutting made safe, with new retaining walls and drainage, built in weekend closures.
What we built
Stabilised slopes, low retaining walls along the track bed, and new drainage under it.
The hard part
Trains ran all week. Work could only happen when the line was closed at weekends.
How we did it
Each weekend had a fixed plan. The line was handed back every Monday morning.
